Commission Activity TypeThe smallest commission-relevant component of a business transaction that is derived from the type of change made. The commission is derived from the commission activity type together with the participation role for a commission recipient and the form of a commission agreement (commission types and remuneration types).
A commission activity type always has a unique reference to a triggering object type (for example, a triggering method for the object type "contract" can never belong to the same activity type as a triggering method for the object type "tariff").
Possible commission activity types:
New business
In-force business
Completion
Cancellation reset
Creation of a new contract
Tariff change
Tariff reversal
The level of detail that characteristics have depends on the requirements necessary for remuneration. However, valuation, remuneration and settlement aspects are not used to determine this.
Used to name a remuneration-relevant activity.
The delivered commission activities describe changes from the view of the processed business object. These changes are reported to Incentives and Commission Management.
Since the participants are remunerated according to their tasks and the result that they are aiming for, the activity types are not determined by classifying the effective transactions of the delivering system. Instead, the different types of agent activity such as the brokerage of a new contract or completion of insurance cover are derived from these activities.
The "tariff change"
change reason
only means that the tariff was changed in a contract. In Incentives and Commission Management, this contract change can lead to the
activity types
"in-force business activity", "completion" or "coverage change".
A commission activity type includes the following data (key data is marked in bold ):
Commission activity group number
Commission activity type number
Status/version for the commission activity type with period management attributes
Commission activity type name
Inheritance indicator
Indicates whether the activity type is inherited by all objects lower down in the hierarchy.
Default indicator
