Processing Pending Cases In pending case processing, commission cases that have the status
reserved, parked
or
incorrect
are postprocessed or completed.
Pending case processing is documented using change documents, not using versions.
Processing is executed for a pending commission case by specifying the changed data for the commission case in the interface, when using the same name for the business transaction ID with the
Commission case supplement
indicator. The business transaction must be available with the status
reserved, parked
or
incorrect
, and the user can define the mode specified (
Park
,
Post on
,
Simulation
). The operation category must correspond to the one originally reported.
The changes to the commission case are documented in change documents for pending case processing. Commission documents (new ones, where required) are determined with the new commission case. In addition, the commission documents for the old commission document status are read from the transactions for the commission contract, their values negated, and posted with the new documents. The result of pending case processing is updated in the transactions for the commission contract in a sales-relevant manner (separate changes to debit and credit).
The status of the commission case and its new documents corresponds to the new status that results from pending case processing (for example, “reserved” or “posted”).
Note
When commission cases are set to “pending”, you have the option of editing these cases through
SAP Business Workflow
and sending work items to the respective processors. To do this, you have to establish a
connection between SAP Business Workflow and the commission case
.
