Enabling Web Services Navigator through Config Tool

Prerequisites

If you want to use it on your systems, you can enable it through Config Tool.

To do so, follow the steps below:

Procedure

  1. To start the ConfigTool, open usr\sap\<SID>\J<instance_id>\j2ee\configtool\configtool.<bat|sh>
  2. From the View tab check the Expert Mode checkbox
  3. Select the templates you use
  4. Go to the Filters tab
  5. In the Custom Rules enter
    1. On Action choose start
    2. In Vendor Mask enter sap.com
    3. In the Vendor Mask enter sap.com
    4. For Component choose application
    5. In Component Name Mask enter tc~esi~esp~wsaddon~ear
    6. Choose Add
  6. Repeat steps 5.x for application tc~esi~esp~wsnav~ui (only change substep e.).
  7. Choose Save and restart the cluster for changes to take effect.
