Finding Web Services
Use
The first step of a Web service test is to select a Web service. You can choose a Web service that is running on the local system or on a remote system. You can do one of the following:

If you know the WSDL URL of the Web service you want to test, you can simply enter it in Web Services Navigator .

You can find a Web service that is available on a particular provider system or logical destination.

You can find a Web service that is registered in Services Registry .
Prerequisites

WS Navigator is allowed to access the systems on which the Web services are running. More information: Configuring Web Services Navigator White List

Depending on the method you want to use to find a Web service, you need one of the following:

You know the URL of the WSDL document. More information: Managing WSDL Documents

You have created and configured a connection to a provider system as well as a destination that points to the location of the Web service.

Procedure
Searching a Web Service by WSDL URL

Choose the Service step on the Service Test tab page.

In the Search Service Interfaces screen area, select WSDL .

Enter the URL of the WSDL document.

Choose Next .
Searching a Web Service by Provider System or Logical Destination

Choose the Service step on the Service Test tab page.

In the Search Service Interfaces screen area, select Provider System or Logical Destination .

Enter the name of the Web service.
You can use an asterisk (*) or a question mark (?) as wildcards in the search string.

Select a provider system or logical destination and choose Search .

Select a Web service from the list and choose Next .
Searching a Web Service in Services Registry

Choose the Service step on the Service Test tab page.

In the Search Service Interfaces screen area, select Services Registry .

In the Find field, enter the name of the Web service.
You can use an asterisk (*) or a question mark (?) as wildcards in the search string. To narrow the scope of your search, you can choose search options from the Search by , State , and System dropdown lists. More information: Searching and Browsing Service Definitions

Choose Go .

Select a Web service from the list and choose Next .
