Editing Classes To enter new class data, you first have to create the issuer of the security as the SAP business partner for Financial Services in the role of Issuer
.
Choose or The screen for maintaining class data appears.
Enter the ID number.

This number uniquely identifies the security. We recommend that you use the official security ID number.
Prerequisite: In Customizing for securities you must have defined the number range intervals as external number ranges. To do this, choose
Define Number Ranges for Product Types
in Customizing.

You can use the F4 Help to search for classes that have already been created in the system. You can search according to the following criteria:

If you want to search for a specific class using the secondary index, enter the
secondary index number
and enter the number you are looking for in the
Index Class

If you want to have all those classes displayed that have a specific secondary index as well as an ID number, enter the

and enter an asterisk (*) in the
Index Class
field. A list of all the classes is displayed for which this secondary index has been maintained.

You can also get to these areas by choosing the menu option Goto

By entering a new security ID number in the selection field and choosing a processing function (display, change, and so on), you can switch to another class.
By choosing Enter
, after entering a new security ID number, you can switch to the new class and remain in the same processing mode. (for example, ).
Check
This function checks the class for consistency. Any errors that occur here are displayed in a dialog box. The same checks are carried out when you save the class.
Reset
This function is available in the change mode. It resets the class data to the status it had just after it was last saved.
Cash Flow
For stocks and bonds, the system displays a simulated cash flow based on a purchase with a nominal value of 100,000.
