SAPscript Status Line

Definition

The status line shows information about the document:

  • The style selected for the document, if any. In the example screen, the style is S_OFFICE.

  • The form selected for the document. In the example screen, the form is SYSTEM, the default form.

  • The numbers of the lines of text that you currently see on the screen followed by the total number of lines of text in the document. In the example screen, the first line is displayed (Lines 1 - 1) and the document length is 1 line (/1).

If you select a block of text, then the status line shows the start and end of the selected block instead of the style and form. The status line also shows the most recently used paragraph and character formats.
