The Line Editor

Use

You use the line editor to create and edit texts. You require these texts for printing forms (such as standard letters) or for creating documents (such as sales orders or material texts) in the SAP system.

Integration

You can use any texts that you have created with the PC Editor. The system converts the assigned formats and styles appropriately and displays them in the usual fashion.

If you want to switch between editors, choose Goto  Change Editor.

You can use the line editor to perform the following activities:

• Entering and Formatting Text

• Entering and Formatting Text

• Using Clipboards

• Finding and Replacing

• Setting Breaks Manually

• Suppressing Text Formatting

• Using Tabs and Tables

• Numbering and Marking Headings and Paragraphs
