Using Clipboards

Prerequisites

You can only use the SAPscript user clipboard within an SAP system and a client.

Context

You use the SAPscript user clipboard when copying "permanent" text areas. The "permanent" text remains in the clipboard until you overwrite it, even if you log off or the SAP system is restarted.

Procedure

Use the mouse to select the text.
Choose Edit Selected Area Copy to User Clipboard, and choose one of the five available clipboards.
To insert the text in SAPscript, choose Include Clipboard User Clipboard and choose the appropriate clipboard.

Note

You can also edit the contents of SAPscript user clipboards. Choose Goto User Clipboard. This opens a normal SAPscript text input window, in which you can edit the content of the user clipboard.
