Mass Import of Data Types

Prerequisites

Save the XSD files that you want to import on your local file system. The wizard cannot access files directly from a URL or an archive. Unpack all files to a directory before using the wizard.

Context

If you have already defined data types as XSDs, you can reuse them by importing them into the ES Builder. The XSDs are imported as freestyle data types.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Enterprise Services Builder .
  2. From the main menu, choose Start of the navigation pathTools Next navigation step Import Data TypesEnd of the navigation path.
  3. Follow the instructions on the wizard.

Results

The imported data types are available in the selected software component version under the namespace mentioned in the XSD.
