Assigning Color Gradient to Object

Use

You can assign a color gradient to an object/graphic object or several objects/graphic objects.

Procedure

  1. In the Modeling screen, right-click on an object or on a selection of several objects and then select Start of the navigation pathFormat Next navigation step RepresentationEnd of the navigation path.

    The Object Properties dialog box opens.

  2. From the Fill color box, choose Fill effects .

    The Select Fill Effect dialog box opens.

  3. If you want to use one color for the color gradient, leave the One Color option button enabled and select the color selection box on the right-hand side to select the color.

    The First color dialog box opens and you can select the color you want. When you close the First color dialog box by clicking on OK , the selected color is activated and displayed in the color selection box of the Select fill effect dialog box.

  4. If you want to use two colors for the color gradient, select the first color as described. Then enable the Two Colors option button and click on the color selection box on the right hand side. Select the second color just like you did the first. Once you have closed the Second color dialog box by clicking OK , the selected color is activated and displayed in the color selection box.

  5. Enable the desired color Gradient Style .

  6. Select OK to exit the Select fill effects dialog box.

  7. Select the Preview button in the dialog box to check your settings in advance. The selected items are colored according to your settings.

  8. Select OK to exit the dialog box.

The selected objects have the set color gradient.
