How to copy objects/models as an EMF to the clipboard

Use

You can copy objects and models to the clipboard in EMF format (Enhanced Metafile vector graphic format).

Prerequisites

If you want to copy not only the selected model items or model, but also the background to the clipboard, you need to have selected the Print Assignments check box in Personal Settings under Modeling in the Enterprise Services Builder.

Procedure

  1. Select the desired model items or the entire model.
  2. Click on Edit/Copy or press Ctrl + C.

Result

The selected items or the model are placed on the clipboard in the Enhanced Metafile vector graphic format.
