Formatting Free-Form Text

Context

You can format free-form text to format character, paragraph, and so on. Multiple options are available for formatting free-form texts.

Procedure

  • In the Modeling screen, right-click in the free-form text and select Start of the navigation pathFormatEnd of the navigation path.
  • Select Representation to:
    • Represent the entire text as a comment

    • Determine font format and alignment (left, centered, right)

    • Set the default for all new free-form texts

    • Enable or disable character formatting

    Changes to the representation only affect the occurrence you are currently work with. Make sure that the Start of the navigation pathAllow character formattingEnd of the navigation path is enabled.

  • Select Start of the navigation pathFormat Next navigation step CharacterEnd of the navigation path to emphasize individual terms or highlight them in color.
  • Select Start of the navigation pathFormat Next navigation step ParagraphEnd of the navigation path to improve the readability of individual paragraphs by applying numbering, bullets, or indents to them.

    Changes to character or paragraph formatting affect all occurrence copies of this free-form text.
