Configuring the Task Type Selection

Use

Selected collaboration task types can be launched from UWL. The dropdown task type list visible in the collaboration task wizard can be customized to have only those view types as selected in this configuration.

Configuring Task Types in the Workflow Administration

  1. Navigate to Start of the navigation pathSystem Administration Next navigation step System Configuration Next navigation step  Universal Worklist and Workflow Next navigation step  WorkflowEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathUser Interface Next navigation step Configure Task Types Next navigation step  Configuration of Collaboration Task TypesEnd of the navigation path.

  3. Choose Edit .

  4. Under View "Types" mark the checkboxes beside the task types you want to make visible under the Task Type selection option in the collaboration task wizard.

  5. To save your settings choose OK or Apply .

    By choosing OK you also unlock the object.

Configuring Task Types in the Collaboration Administration

To be consistent on the portal, you must change these settings from the collaboration settings also.

  1. Navigate to Start of the navigation pathContent Administration Next navigation step Collaboration Content Next navigation step  Collaboration Launch Pad AdministrationEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Under Topics , select Command Group .

  3. Select clpWorkflowGroup .

  4. On the detail view, choose Edit .

  5. From the available list, select the task types as required to add or remove. The names for the task types are:

    • clpWorkflowTaskLink

      This task type relates to the function Task .

    • clpWorkflowCustomTaskLink

      This task type relates to the function Task List .

    • clpWorkflowFeedbackLink

      This task type relates to the function Request for Feedback .

    • clpWorkflowNominationLink

      This task type relates to the function Request for Nomination .

  6. Choose Ok , when done.

  7. Now, from the Command Group list, choose userWorkflowGroup .

  8. Perform the above mentioned steps 4 to 6, as required.

Result

The users can now see in the collaboration task wizard only those task types as selected in the above procedure.
