Authorization Check for the Keyword Catalog

Use

You can assign detailed authorizations to users who work with the keyword catalog. To do so, use authorization object S_SRMKCMNT. The authorization object has the following field:

ACTVT

Describes the activities that can be carried out. The following activities are possible:

  • 01 Add or Change

    The user can add new keywords to existing keyword catalogs, and change existing keywords. The user is not allowed to create new keyword catalogs.

  • 06 Delete

    This activity is an addition to activity 01 Add and Change and allows the user to delete keywords.

    Note that you should assign the Delete activity only to users who have activity 01 Add and Change in their profile.

  • 70 Administration

    The user can create new keyword catalogs and create or delete existing keyword catalogs. The user also has all the authorizations specified above; adding, changing and deleting keywords.
