To close a goods receipt PO or a goods return, specify a date other than the current system date and the original posting date.

If you specified a date which is earlier than or the same as the original posting date of this document, you receive a message: Enter a specified date that is later than original document posting date.

If you specified a date which is in a locked period, you receive a message: Period is locked for new data.
