Determines whether or not to encrypt data when displaying confidential data. The data includes: G/L account balances, customer and vendor account balances, price lists, and gross profits for the transactions. When selected (Y), the system displays the Encoding Table button. The user can click this button to open the Encoding window for setting the encoding. A different display character can be defined for each character in the table.
