Procedure documentationImporting PSE Files

To ensure security when you send DocumentSet messages, you must establish communication that is made secure using a certificate. If you did not create the certificate using SAP Trust Manager (transaction STRUST), but instead you created a P12 file using another tool, follow the procedure below to convert the file to a PSE file and to import it.

Prerequisites

You have converted the P12 file to a PSE file.

For more information, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver on the SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.comInformation published on SAP site.

Procedure

  1. Copy the PSE file to your workstation.

  2. Call transaction STRUST.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step SSL Client Identities End of the navigation path and create a new SSL client identity.

  4. Double-click the File in the list of PSE files and enter your PSE file.

  5. Choose Start of the navigation path PSE Next navigation step Save As Next navigation step SSL Client End of the navigation path and your PSE file.

  6. Expand the newly created SSL client identity and double-click on the PSE file. If a password is required, it is the same as the password of the P12 file.

  7. Choose the Import Certificate pushbutton and enter the certificate of your service provider. Your service provider has to send you the certificate, or at least inform you of a link for downloading the certificate.

  8. Choose the Add to Cert. List pushbutton.

  9. Save your entries and start the Internet Communication Manager (ICM) again.
