Technical Description and Configuration Information

Purpose

This section contains information about the configuration of the Business Package for Project Self-Service . The iViews of the Business Package display the Web Dynpro applications of Project Self-Service . For more information about which iView calls which Web Dynpro application, see the documentation for the individual iViews.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met before you can use this Business Package:

  • For more information about system requirements, see Business Package for Project Self-Service .

  • You imported the Business Package for Common Parts and assigned the user the role from the Business Package for Common Parts (com.sap.pct.erp.common.erp_common) . For more information about the Business Package, see Business Package for Common Parts .

  • You set up the following system alias names in the portal:

  • Connection to the cProjects system:

    • Define an RFC destination for the cProjects system in the ERP system.

    • Configure this RFC destination in Customizing for Project Self-Service .

    • The system that cProjects uses for accounting integration must be identical to the ERP system the role uses as the back-end system (system alias SAP_ECC_cProjects ).

  • For more information about the authorization logic of the Business Package, see SAP Note 846439.

    Note Note

    You can create an implementation for the Change URL Parameters (FPB_LAUNCHPAD) BAdI below the Business Add-Ins entry. The BAdI implementation supplied with the standard system is not active. If you want to use this BAdI implementation, you have to activate it.
