Find Where an Object is Used

A datastore cannot be deleted if its associated contents are in use. Find where an object is used by viewing its dependencies.

In the Datastores tab, select a specific datastore.

The list of objects in the datastore displays in the right.
Select an object such as a table, file format, or web service function from the list.
Select the where used icon () to view the dependencies of the object.
