Open ODS View (Enhanced)

The following enhancements have been made in connection with Open ODS views:

With back end version 7.4 SPS11:

• You can swap the source object of an Open ODS view.

• You can generate a data flow for an Open ODS view. This allows you to create the following objects:

  • DataStore object (advanced) as persistence for an Open ODS view, comparable with a Persistent Staging Area (PSA)

  • A transformation, which you can use for example to perform data type conversions, assignments or string operations on source data

With back end version 7.4 SPS12:

• You can create an Open ODS view by copying an existing one. You can then modify this copy to your liking.
