Configuring Virus Scanning on the Integration Engine

Context

You can configure virus scanning of messages on the Integration Engine.

Procedure

  1. On the SAP system of the Integration Engine, call transaction SXMS_IECONF .
  2. Configure the relevant parameters (see the following table).

      Virus scanning not activated (default value).

      Virus scanning activated.

    VIRUS_SCAN_MODE

    • 1

      Only attachments are scanned (default value).

    • 2

      Attachments and main payload are scanned.

    VIRUS_SCAN_TYPE

    • 1

      Binary data is scanned (default value).

    • 2

      All content types are scanned.
