Configuring XI Adapters

Configure the XI Adapter to exchange messages between Integration Engines. Message protocols XI 3.0, XI 3.1, and XI 2.0 are supported.

You have to configure a communication channel with an XI receiver adapter for the technical receiver in order to forward messages from the Integration Server to a business system and the ABAP proxy runtime or the AS Java and Java proxy runtime.
You can use security settings to sign and check the signature of messages. Message payloads can be encrypted and decrypted.
Procedure

Configure the XI Sender Adapter to receive XML messages from a sending system.

Configure the XI Receiver Adapter to send XML messages to a receiving system.
