Use

You can specify the following adapter-specific attributes when using the communication channel with adapter type WS .

Settings for Authentication

These settings specify how the Web service caller authenticates itself in the system of the Web service provider.

User name

Specifies the user name that the Web service client uses to authenticate itself with the Web service provider.

User password

Reliable Messaging Settings of Web Service Client

These settings ensure that data is transferred reliably.

Description

Retransmission Interval

Specifies the time (in seconds) after which the Web service client is to resend the message.

Timeout of a Sequence on Inactivity

Specifies the length of inactivity of a sequence of messages (in seconds) that leads to cancellation of the sequence.

Duration of a Sequence in Seconds

Specifies the duration for a sequence of messages (in seconds).

Message ID Transport Settings

Message ID Transport Settings

Specifies whether a message ID is to be transferred or not.

If a message ID is to be transferred, you can select one of the following protocols:

  • WS-A Message ID

  • SAP Message ID

HTTP Proxy Settings

These settings apply to the HTTP proxy that the Web service client uses to connect to the Web service provider.

These fields are only displayed if the assigned receiver communication channel is configured for a Remote Call , that is, the Local Call checkbox is not selected.
