Set Story Details
You can set the SAP Analytics Cloud story details to specify how to open the story.
To open Story Details, from the edit time toolbar, select Story Settings.
There are some options that can be set for the entire story.
Filters
Filters are a property of the content for your system and they are maintained in the catalog.
For more information, see Enable Content Discoverability with the Analytics Catalog.
Translation
Enable Translation: You can create a request to have a translation service translate the story descriptions. For more information on story translation, see Enable Stories for Translation.
Data Change Insights
Data Change Insights: You can enable this option to let viewers subscribe to top N data change insights in your story so that they can keep informed of data changes of specific charts on a regular basis.
Video Data Story
Enable Video Data Story: You can enable this option to let viewers create videos based on the widgets they select in the story.
For more information, see Create and View Video Data Stories.
Data Exploration Settings
Explorer Settings: Enable Explorer for all Charts and Tables overrides the state of any Enable Explorer settings that are already applied to charts and tables. However, it does not reset those settings. When you turn off the story-level setting, the charts and tables will go back to using the Enable Explorer setting.
Mobile Support for Canvas Page
Mobile Support for Canvas Pages: If there're mobile-friendly canvas pages designed in your story, you can enable them to be viewed on mobiles.
Scripting Related Settings
Enable designers to edit and save story with scripts: You can let story designers edit and save the story containing scripts that remain hidden to them. If this option isn't selected, by default the story is view-only to them.
Bookmark Settings
Override default variable settings: By selecting the option you can modify the default variable behavior in bookmarks. Variable prompt settings at the model level can be overridden.
Keep last saved values for dynamic variables: Once Override default variable settings is selected, you can choose whether to keep last changed dynamic variable values in bookmarks, instead of Customer Exit, SAP Exit, SAP BW Exit, or Authorization variable values.
Enable viewers to modify settings: When the option is selected, in view time Keep last saved values for dynamic variables is available in the Save Bookmark dialog. Story viewers can therefore choose whether to keep last changed variable values in bookmarks.
