Add Your Calendar Highlights to the Home Screen

You can show your calendar highlights on the SAP Analytics Cloud home screen, quickly seeing which tasks or processes are overdue and which are coming due.

Context

The following calendar events are displayed in the Calendar Highlights tile:

  • Tasks and processes in status Open or In Progress where you are the owner or assignee.

  • Tasks and processes that were due in the last 14 days are displayed as Overdue.

  • Tasks and processes that are due in the next 30 days are displayed as Due Soon.

Procedure

  1. Go to your user profile and select Home Screen Settings.
  2. In the dialog, turn on the option for Calendar Highlights.
  3. Move the tile to the desired position on the home screen.

Results

You can monitor your tasks and processes from the home screen.

  • When you select one of the tasks or processes, you'll be taken to the Details panel of that task or process.

  • If a task has a work file (story or analytic application) attached and you are the assignee, you'll be taken directly to the story or analytic application.

  • If a task has multiple work files and you are the assignee, the task opens in the Details panel. Under Work Files, you can choose which story or analytic application to work on.
