What Type of Predictive Scenario Do You Need?

A Predictive Scenario is a preconfigured workspace that you use to create predictive models and reports to address a business question requiring the prediction of future events or trends. You choose the one that is relevant to the type of predictive insights you are looking for.

You can find examples on how to create and use the predictive scenarios available in Smart Predict in our playlist on YouTubeInformation published on non-SAP site or looking at the individual videos:
Predictive Scenario Type Link to videos Description
Overview on Predictive Scenarios available Basic Concept in Smart Predict: The Predictive Scenario Information published on non-SAP site Explore the different predictive scenarios currently available in Smart Predict: Classification, Regression and Time Series Predictive Scenarios.
Classification Smart Predict: Finding the best classification predictive modelInformation published on non-SAP site Using a simple scenario, you will create a Classification Predictive Scenario. You will create a first predictive model and check the accuracy of your predictions. Then, you will duplicate your predictive model and will train it using another dataset. You will finally compare the 2 predictive models to find the best one.
Classification Smart Predict: Understanding the confusion matrixInformation published on non-SAP site In the video Smart Predict: Finding the best classification predictive model, you have built a predictive model to answer your business issue. Now, you will interpret the results of the confusion matrix for this business case and understand how to set a threshold (or cut off point) to best categorize your target group.
Classification Smart Predict: Using the profit simulationInformation published on non-SAP site In the previous videos, you have created a predictive model to answer your business issue and have interpreted the confusion matrix and set a threshold. Now, you will use the profit simulation of Smart Predict, to calculate the return on investment using this predictive model, and set the ideal threshold that allows you to optimize your profit.
Classification Smart Predict: Applying a classification predictive modelInformation published on non-SAP site In a previous video, we created a classification predictive model to identify which customers to contact with a marketing campaign. Now, we’ll use this predictive model on actual customer data to create the output dataset containing the answer to this question.
Regression Smart Predict: Debriefing a Regression Predictive ModelInformation published on non-SAP site Using a simple scenario we will create a Regression Predictive Scenario and will go through the generated reports to evaluate the accuracy of the predictive model.
Time Series Smart Predict: Creating a Time Series Forecasting Predictive ScenarioInformation published on non-SAP site Using a simple scenario, you will create a Time Series Predictive Scenario. You will create a first predictive model and go through the different settings to be filled to create the scenario.
Time Series Smart Predict: Debriefing a Time Series Forecasting Predictive ModelInformation published on non-SAP site In the video Smart Predict: Creating a Time Series Predictive Scenario, you have created a Time Series Predictive Model in your Predictive Scenario. Now you will go through the generated reports and evaluate the accuracy of your predictive model.
Time Series Smart Predict: Creating a segmented time series predictive modelInformation published on non-SAP site Using a simple scenario and the segmented variable of a Time Series predictive model, you will create several predictive models at once. You will get accurate predictions per predictive model considering the characteristic of each individual segment.
