Expanding Hierarchies in a Chart
You can expand a hierarchy in a chart and display multiple levels for all members at the same time.
Prerequisites
Your chart must have at least one hierarchical dimension.
Context
You can expand dimension hierarchies in a chart to view finer granularity of the data. You can also display more than one level of the hierarchy at the same time, similar to how expanded levels are displayed in a table.
The Drill dialog
gives you control over which level of data is displayed as well as whether to
include the parent levels.
The Expand/Collapse option within the chart expands or collapses data by one level each time you select it.
When you have a linked analysis set in your story and you expand or drill into a chart, all the charts with the same hierarchy level will be refreshed to show the new level.
When you add a filter to the chart, the hierarchy level is reset to level 1. The drill level is now at level 1 relative to the filter.
