Set Up PAi Connection for SAP S/4HANA (On-Premise)

Context

You are logged into SAP Analytics Cloud, and are in the Connections section.
  • The connection is set up by the SAP S/4HANA Administrator.
  • The ADMINISTRATOR user role is required.

Procedure

  1. Go to Start of the navigation path (Main Menu) Next navigation step  Connection Next navigation step PAi Connections Next navigation step  (Add a PAi Connection)End of the navigation path
  2. Name the new connection, and give it a description.
  3. Enter the PAi Application URL from the ANA_PAI_PF_SRV service you configured according to the steps in the chapter Follow-Up Activities for Predictive Analytics integrator in the guide called Installation Guide for SAP S/4HANA on the SAP Help Portal at https://help.sap.com.
  4. Select Use SAP Cloud Connector.
    Caution
    Make sure that when you have configured your SAP Cloud Connector, you left the location id empty to use the default value.
  5. Enter the username and password of a user who has access to the ANA_PAI_PF_SRV service. This user must have the Analytics Specialist role assigned.
  6. Test the connection, then select Save.

    The new PAi connection now appears in the PAi Connections list. The connection is available for selection in the Publish to PAi Application box when publishing a predictive model.
