Live Data Limitations for Search to Insight

The following limitations apply when you run Search to Insight on live SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Universe, and SAP BW data models.

Data Access
  • The available indexed metadata (dimension and measure names, and dimension members) for all users is determined by the data access security of the user who indexed the model.
  • Visualizations based on indexed data will respect individual user access rights.
Metadata
  • You can now index live models up to a 5 million member capacity.
    Note
    Tenant capacity for all indexed models is 500 million members.
  • Indexing is based on the flat representation of data. Level-based hierarchies are not taken into account in the resulting indexes.
