Calendar

Use the calendar to view, create, and manage your processes and tasks.

What Can I Do with the Calendar?

You can use your calendar in the following ways:

  • Create tasks, assign them to users, and set due dates.
  • Create processes, add tasks or other processes to it.

A process is an aggregation of all the elements that it contains, elements such as tasks or other processes. The process provides a high-level view of how much work is completed and how much still needs to be done.

  • Monitor your progress.
Creating, Displaying and Monitoring Events in Different Views

You can display your tasks and processes in different formats: the Calendar, the Gantt, and the List view. See: Creating, Displaying and Monitoring Events in Different Views

Additionally, you can monitor your tasks and processes from the home screen. See: Adding Calendar Highlights to the Home Screen

Roles

There are different roles associated with a task or a process and each role has specific actions. See: Calendar Roles

Access your story and analytic application directly in the calendar. You can show your calendar highlights on the home screen, quickly seeing which tasks or processes are overdue and which are coming due. Automatic data action tasks help you define the start time of your data action. Data actions are a flexible planning tool for making structured changes to model data, including copying data from one model to another.
