Translator Role

To access the Translation dashboard, you must be assigned the role of an administrator or translator.

You can translate the user-defined fields in a story, model, public dimension object, or SAP Analytics Hub assets and layout. You can create, read, and delete translations, and view the translatable or translated content of all the objects listed in SAP Analytics Cloud.

The Translator privileges are:

• Create: Lets you upload translations via XLIFF files, or review options in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Read: Lets you download the source XLIFF files from the Translation dashboard in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Delete: Lets you delete the translations in SAP Analytics Cloud.
