Employee's Self Description

Configuration

For this Web Dynpro application, the application parameter ORGVIEWGRP is stored in the standard with the value TMC. This parameter specifies that the group of organizational views TMC from Customizing is used for the Object and Data Provider. In this application, this group of organizational views provides the manager with a choice of various views of employees, for example, the view Direct Reports.

In the standard SAP system, the organizational view group TMC gives the manager access to all employees that report directly to him or her, or that belong to the organizational units of which he or she is the manager. The employee search is also restricted to this manager's area of responsibility. If you want to define different settings, do so in Customizing for the Object and Data Provider.
