Managers can use this application to display or change the appraisal document used in the flexible appraisal process.

Integration

In the standard SAP system, this application is indicated as Invisible. It is called from the Performance Management application.

Methods

This application is called from the via object-based navigation using the navigate_appraisal_document method and parameter WI_ID of business object MSS_WL. For more information about the business object, see Manager's Worklist.
Managers receive work items in their inboxes via the workflow. These work items contain appraisal documents for the employees assigned to the managers. Managers can open and process these appraisal documents from the inbox.

This application is called via object-based navigation using the method appraisal_document_wd_ui of the business object employee. For more information about the business object, see Employee.
In their worklists, managers have appraisal documents for the employees for whom they are responsible. Managers can open and process these appraisal documents from the worklist.

Prerequisites

You have made all the necessary settings in Customizing for the Objective Setting and Appraisals (Performance Management) application component.
