Specify which node is to be displayed as a navigation
entry point

In the row of the node, select the checkbox in the
Entry Point column.

Specify the
nodes that are visible in the navigation hierarchy.

In the relevant row, select the checkbox in the
Visible column.
This is useful when creating a wizard, for example, where you need to see each page to create your object. However, at runtime, there is no need to access any individual page in a wizard when navigating from the navigation panel. Therefore, the individual pages can be set to invisible (deselecting
the checkbox) so that they are not seen separately in the navigation iViews.
Note
This property is also available in the Properties editor for pages. Select the
Invisible in Navigation Areas checkbox to hide the object in navigation iViews.

sort priority of objects in the Role and Workset editors.

object can be merged .

An asterisk after the value in the
Merge column indicates that the
Merge ID property has not been set for the object. To view a merge ID, hover the cursor over the value.

View the
Filter IDs assigned to the role.
|
You can add or remove filter IDs in the Properties editor.

Preview the navigation structure (roles only).

You can see the navigation structure as appears at runtime in the
Navigation Structure Preview area at the right. Changes made in the
Merge and
Visible columns are reflected in the preview.
