In the configuratoin editor for Floor Plan Manager, you have the option of configuring the global settings for the selected applications.
You can configure the following global settings for an application:
Application-specific parameters
You can enter application-specific parameters such as the Web Dynpro component or ABAP OO class, configuration name, configuration type, and configuration variant.
Save settings for the application
You can specify whether you want an application-specific view (UIBB) to be transient. A transient UIBB can be removed from the main memory at runtime under certain conditions to save space.
Message settings
You can determine how many messages can be shown at the same time in the message area. This maximum number also determines the maximum size of the message area, which is determined dynamically by the system at runtime. If the number of messages to be shown lower than the determined maximum at runtim, the size of the message area is adjusted accordingly. If the number is larger than the specified number, the maximum size of the message area is displayed and an additional vertical scroll bar is shown that you can use to navigate to the message that you cannot immediately see.
Furthermore, you also determine whether a message log is shown for the application.
You find the global settings of an applicatoin in the configuration editor for Floor Plan Manger in the controlling area of the navigation area under or .
