Removing Personalization Data for a Specific UserLocate this document in the navigation structure

Select a specific user and remove the personalization data for only that user.

Context

This procedure applies to personalization data in the PCD (Portal Content Directory) and in the UCD (User Content Directory).

Procedure

  1. In the Portal, select Start of the navigation path System Administration Next navigation step Support Next navigation step PCD Tools Next navigation step Personalization Data Cleanup End of the navigation path.
  2. In the Personalization Data tab, from the Search for dropdown list, select User.
  3. Type a search string and choose Go.
    The Users table lists the search results, and an empty Personalized Objects table appears on the right.
  4. In the Users table, select one or more users.
    The Personalized Objects table lists the objects personalized by the selected users.
  5. You have the following options:
    • Choose Remove User Personalization to remove all the personalization data for the selected users.
    • Select objects in the Personalized Objects table, and choose Remove Object Personalization to remove the personalization data only for the selected objects.
