SAP Portal provides a built-in Support role that enables read-only access for support purposes. The role is located under the folder in the Portal Catalog and you can assign it to a user immediately after installing SAP Portal with the default content. The Support role enables read-only browsing of the following areas:
JNDI
PCD
Portal Registry
Security Zone
Client Framework Environment configurations
