Use

You use the administrator mode of the Web Dynpro Explorer to make modification-free changes to a user interface with the configuration editor for Floorplan Manager.

Features

In administrator mode, all changes made to an existing, explicit configuration are saved as an independent delta of the configuration it is based on. You can launch the Floorplan Manager configuration editor from administrator more and carry out the changes you want to make there. In the configuration editor for floorplans, there are also special editors for configuring list components , form components , and tabbed components available.

To call up administrator mode, you need the S_DEVELOP or S_WDR_P13N authorization profile.

Procedure

To start the configuration editor in administrator more, proceed as follows:

  1. Select a Web Dynpro application configuration in the Object Navigator of the ABAP Workbench.

  2. On the Web Dynpro Explorer: Display Web Dynpro Configuration screen, choose Start of the navigation path Web Dynpro Configuration Next navigation step Test Next navigation step Execute in Administrator Mode End of the navigation path.

  3. In this window, go to the application's identification region and choose the Adapt Configuration link.

  4. On the Editor for Web Dynpro ABAP Components Customizing screen, choose Change .

  5. On the Component Customizing <application name> screen, make sure that the Component-Defined view is on.
