Concept

A Floorplan Manager application is a Web Dynpro application that calls up either the FPM_OIF_COMPONENT Web Dynpro component (for an object instance) or the FPM_GAF_COMPONENT Web Dynpro component (for a guided activity). You can use explicit configurations to assign additional Web Dynpro components as user-specific views (UIBBs).

For this, Floorplan Manager offers the following generic Web Dynpro components, which can be adjusted directly in Floorplan Manager:

By combining a floorplan with these Web Dynpro components, most application user interfaces can be compiled at design time using the configuration options. The interfaces can be changed thereafter using the component-defined configuration options for the floorplan or the generic components.

Note

It is also possible to assign Web Dynpro components that are not generic components of Floorplan Manager. These components cannot be configured in Floorplan Manager.
