Creating a Dialog BoxLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You create a new dialog box in the Floor Plan Manager configuration editor (see Floor Plan Manager Configuration Editor ).

Procedure

  1. In the navigation area, choose the Add pushbutton and choose Dialog Box .
  2. In the Add Dialog Box dialog box, enter an ID and a name.
    Note

    If you want to use a pushbutton to open the dialog box, this ID is transferred to the FPM event FPM_OPEN_DIALOG as a value for the DIALOG_BOX_ID parameter.

  3. Choose Add .

    The name of the dialog box is displayed in the navigation area next to the Dialog Box radio button. The Dialog Box element is highlighted in the hierarchy. All attributes of the dialog box are shown in the attribute view. You can now configure these attributes.

  4. Configure which standard pushbuttons you want displayed in the dialog box.
  5. Enter quick info text for each pushbutton as needed.
  6. Enter a title for the dialog box.
  7. Configure at least one application-specific view for the dialog box.
  8. Save the configuration.

Results

The dialog box has been created and configured. It can now be called, for example, in the Floor Plan Manager application using a pushbutton via configuration (see Assigning a Dialog Box to a Pushbutton ).
