ALE Customizing Data
Use
There are two kinds of ALE customizing data: Application customizing data which configures the application processes.
Basis customizing data. This data refers to the technical distribution configuration (distribution model, logical systems, definition of partner profiles, and so on).
You may have to make consistency checks corrections for both types of customizing data, if, for example, customizing data is to be distributed into other systems.
Note
You can also use Business Configuration Sets to organize your ALE customizing data by process. Business Configuration Sets make your customizing data more transparent and easier to analyze, and simplify roll-out to other systems. For more information, see:
