Using a Web Dynpro Page LayoutLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • A Web Dynpro page layout was deployed to the portal.

Context

After you create a Web Dynpro layout component and deploy it, you can create a layout template and assign the layout to Web Dynpro pages.

Procedure


  1. In the portal, go to Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step Portal Content. End of the navigation path

  2. From the Web Dynpro Application Repository, copy the deployed layout and paste it into the PCD.

    For more information on working with the Web Dynpro Application Repository, see Working with GPAL Repositories .

  3. In the new layout in the PCD, edit the object and change the Object is a Template property to Yes .

Results

The layout can now be assigned to pages.
