You have created a portal activity report iView. See Creating a Portal Activity Report iView .
The Portal Activity Report Editor enables you to specify the reporting period for your report.
The selected reporting period is not relevant for the Details about the users who logged on report type. This report displays information on all users who logged on since the data collection service was started.
Edit your portal activity report iView, and select the Reporting Period view from the radio buttons at the top of the editor.
Specify the interval for the report, either hourly , daily , weekly , monthly or quarterly . The statistics on portal activity will be reported for the specified interval.
For iView/Page activity reports, a column showing user data appears only in reports that are aggregated hourly.
Select one of the following reporting periods:

Description |

|
Current Day's Activity |
Creates a report of today's activity. The time interval must be set to hourly . For this type of report, set the start and end time. |
|
Relative Range |
Creates a report of the activity from a previously specified time to the present (the time when the report is displayed). For this type report, specify the number of hours, days, or weeks prior to the report display time. |
|
Absolute Range |
Creates a report of the activity during a specific period of time. For this type of report, set the start and end date. If the interval for the report is hourly , you can also specify a start and end time. |
If you select the reporting period for the current day's activity, the report interval automatically appears as hourly.
Also, though the report displays a day column, no matter what reporting period is selected, this column is meaningful only for hourly and daily reports.
Click Save when you finish configuring the report.
Upon saving, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports automatically adjust their start and end times if the times you configured do not start or end at the beginning or end of the selected report interval. For example, if you define a weekly reporting period and specify a start date that is not the first day of the week, the reporting service will change the start date to the first day of the week, even if that day extends into the previous month. Likewise, if the configured end date falls in the middle of the week, the report will be extended to end of that week.
Monthly reports will always be adjusted to the beginning and end of the current month, regardless of the dates defined.
