"Define
calendar"
In this menu option you define the various
public holidays, factory calendars and public holiday calendars. You then
assign the calendars to individual plants and shipping points.
Note
You can define a separate calendar for each
customer in the master record. Customer-specific calendars can be maintained using a separate
menu option.
Requirements
A calendar can only be assigned to an existing
plant. The system automatically proposes the existing plants for
assignment.
Standard
settings
The standard system provides public holiday
calendars and factory calendars for various European countries.
Actions
1. Check the public holidays defined in the standard version
and add any public holidays that are not included in the
list.
2. Define a new public holiday calendar. Enter the public
holidays, or add to the existing public holiday calendar on the respective
details screen. Enter a validity period for the public holiday
calendar.
3. Define a factory calendar and assign the public holiday
calendar to it. Enter the validity period for the factory calendar. This
period must be within the validity period of the public holiday calendar.
Activate the calendar.
4. Assign one factory calendar to each plant by specifying the
number of the respecitive factory calendar.
Note
- When configuring and defining delivery
scheduling, it is possible to allocate a calendar to each shipping
point.
- When defining the route, it is possible to
allocate a calendar to a route using the menu option "Itinerary" ->
"Routes".
