Instructions
By choosing Options
-> Simulation, you complete the settings for
simulation of the account assignment in Inventory Management and Invoice
Verification transactions. Three different settings are provided:
Application
area
Here, you specify which transactions you would
like to simulate:
- Iventory Management transactions
In this case, you
must enter movement types during the simulation and the system simulates the
corresponding goods movement.
- Invoice Verification transactions
In this case, the
system displays a list of transactions which can be simulated in Invoice
Verification (for example, invoice receipt).
Input
mode
To simulate a transaction, you can enter the
following data:
This assumes that
the material has already been created. The system determines the valuation
class of the material automatically.
If there are not yet
any materials, you must simulate the account assignment for valuation classes.
The advantage of this input mode is that you can simulate a transaction for
all valuation classes.
Account
check
During the simulation, the system checks
whether the account assignments required for the material or the valuation
class exist. However, it does not check whether the G/L accounts have already
been created.
If the system is to check whether the G/L
account has been created, select the option Check referenced G/L
accounts .
