"Define customs
offices and modes of transport"
In this menu option, you define customs offices
and modes of transport:
- Customs office (port or airport)
The customs office
in international goods traffic is the office of transit from the country of
export to the country of destination/transit country. In the case of goods
traffic within the EC, the respective inland customs office is
specified.
The customs office
is determined via the route of the delivery item and included in the delivery
item as well as in the billing item.
The customs office
of the last domestic point of the route is proposed, which is either a port or
an airport. To do this, you have to specify the corresponding customs office
and further indicators for the location.
The mode of
transport is a customs regulations term for the type of transport with which
the goods cross a border, for example, rail, road or air.
The mode of
transport is determined via the route of the delivery item and included both
in the delivery item and the billing item. You have to specify the
corresponding mode of transport for the routes.
Note
The customs office numbers are used for the
customs offices. For the customs office number please refer to the manual for
export transactions from the relevant authorities in your country.
