Create Project Definition and WBS Element for Grouping Element 

Prerequisites

You have created a project profile in Customizing for Project System.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the SAP menu, choose Logistics ® Project system ® Basic data ® Project ® Project builder.
  2. Choose Project.
  3. The initial screen for the project builder now appears.

  4. Enter a project definition and a project profile.
  5. Choose .
  6. The screen for the maintenance of the project definition now appears.

  7. Enter the description for the project definition and the necessary basic data.
  8. Choose the Control data tab page. Enter the control data. Select the Valuated stock field.
  9. Choose .
  10. The overview screen for WBS elements now appears.

  11. Enter the WBS element, the description, and so on.
  12. Select the WBS element and choose .
  13. The maintenance screen for WBS elements now appears.

  14. Enter the indicator 1 in the Grouping WBS element field, if you would like to use this grouping WBS element for requirements grouping of all materials.
  15. Enter the indicator 2 if you would only like to use the WBS element for materials with selected MRP groups. In this case, you have to create further grouping WBS elements.

  16. Choose .
  17. The overview screen for WBS elements appears again.

  18. Save your entries.
