Create User-Defined Planning Layouts for Revenue Element Planning

In this step, you define or change planning layouts for revenue element planning.

The planning layout is the means by which you stipulate, depending on your planning requirements, what the content of the header, lines and columns (elements) of your planning screen will be.

Requirements

The standard delivery system includes planning layouts in client 000 only. To use them as a model for your own planning layouts, you must first copy the layouts you need from client 000 to your production clietn. To do this, to to the "Controlling General" implementation guide and choose Production Start-Up Preparation -> System Configuration Transport -> Planning Configuration Transport, then execute step Import standard planning layouts.

Recommendation

Repeat the import from client 000 each time you install a new release or update level. This ensures that the current standard planning layouts are available.
