Recommendations for print control

Copy standard forms from client 000

Since print reports are not client-specific, forms are maintained only in client 000. You should delete any old forms that exist in other clients to ensure that only current forms are used.

Recommendations for printing activity lists

If you cannot print lists for an activity, such as time tickets or confirmation slips, check the following:

1. Does the system check the activity control key when printing?
If yes, you must check whether the control key allows you to print:
You can find the indicator for the control key check under transactions.
2. Do the network status and activity status allow you to print lists?
If the network status does not permit printing, the system does not print the list.
If the network status permits printing, the system prints the list. Activities whose status does not allow printing are not printed in the list.

3. Do you want to print time tickets or confirmation slips?
In this case, you should make sure that the number of time tickets or number of confirmation slips entered for the activity is greater than zero.
Note
If you can print activity lists but cannot receive any values for the individual activity types, you should check whether the appropriate formulas are maintained in cost center assignment for the work center in question.

Recommendations for printing component lists

If you cannot print lists for a component, such as pick lists, goods issue slips, check the following:

1. Is it possible to backflush the component?
Components to be backflushed are only printed on pick lists. No goods issue slips are printed for them.
2. Is the component a phantom assembly?
No shop floor papers are printed for phantom assemblies.
