Creating an Asset Using an Investment Support Key 

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    Accounting ® Financial Accounting ® Fixed Assets ® Asset ® Create ® Asset

    Transaction Code

    AS01

  2. Enter the following data:

  3. Choose .
  4. On the General tab page, enter a description for your asset.
  5. Choose the Time-dependent tab page, then enter cost center 2300.
  6. Choose the Allocations tab page, then enter investment support key 01.
  7. Choose .
  8. Make a note of this asset number.
  9. Choose .

Result

When you enter investment support key 01, the system automatically adds depreciation area 51 to the asset master record.
